That is why it became dangerous to provide proofs of contacts with us. Dangerous for the contactees because your authorities and military structures can harm them while trying to find out the information that is still too early for humanity to know because they fear that the civilizations of the Interstellar Union can harm Earth.
A contact policy was generated, which included laws on actions that are prohibited with contactees.
